Feelings and Emotions
Emotions are part of our life. It surrounds us in all aspects of life. It controls your heart either in a good way or a bad way. It is our inner sound. It tells us where to go and where not to go, what to do and what not to do. Emotions are divided into positive emotions and negative emotions. Each side affects your life in a different way. Emotions exist while dealing with people, making new decisions, and working. Emotions add a flavor to our life since all our actions are derived from our feelings. Some people are weak in front of what they feel, others are wise, and don't let their emotions control their actions.
During the English class, we discuss several-real topics with our teacher. The topic that we discussed last time was gender differences. Some people say that women are emotional and men are rational. Rationality is the opposite of emotionality. If you are rational, you tend to think and act using your mind not your heart. I asked my father the same question, and he told that this is incorrect because emotions are part of human nature. We tend to think, care, love, and hate. This is applied to both men and women regardless the age. Some men do express sadness by crying, and this is not demeaning at all, it is natural. Some women on the other hand tend not to show their emotions in front of people. They do have emotions, but they try to hide them maybe because they believe that emotions affect their image. Emotions are viewed as weaknesses because not all people accept that this is your way to express yourself.
Emotions show one’s true, honest personality. They differ according to the person, situation, and case. My message is never hide your feelings because they are part of you!
