Burj Khalifa
Skyscrapers are huge and tall buildings, consisting of many floors. They represent urbanization, wealth, and development. Dubai is one of the wealthiest cities in the world. It has many skyscrapers. Such as: Almas Tower, Emirates Office Tower, and Marina 101. In this essay, I will talk about my visit to Burj Khalifa, which is one of the most famous skyscrapers in Dubai and the world. I will talk about the activities I did, and the new things I learned about it.
Our journey started when we headed to Burj Khalifa. It is located in the Downtown area in Dubai, specifically at Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Although this skyscraper can be seen from everywhere in the city, it looks majestic and magnificent up close. Before our visit, we booked the tickets from the official website of Burj Khalifa. I was surprised to learn that it has one entrance. In order to enter Burj Khalifa, we headed to the ground floor of Dubai Mall. There, we rode the elevator that took us to it. The tour guide told us interesting facts about Burj Khalifa. He told us that it is the tallest building in the world, and that it has the world's tallest elevator too. Also, Burj Khalifa has 163 floors and is 828 meters high. We headed to the outdoor observation deck. The view was breathtaking, and we enjoyed watching Dubai city from above. Then, we went to Burj Park, near Burj Khalifa. We enjoyed activities such as cycling and watching the Dubai Fountain. We also visited the mosque in this skyscraper, and tried dishes from different cuisines around the world.
Burj Khalifa is an example of what humans can build and achieve. It symbolizes diligence, persistence, and determination. There are other things in this skyscraper that I want to explore. For this reason, I hope to visit again soon.
