I Want to Become a Lawyer
I have many life goals. One of them is to become a lawyer. I prefer this profession because it suits my personality, and I love helping others. And since advocacy is what I aspire to, I did research on it. In this essay, I will talk about this profession, and its importance in our lives.
A lawyer is a person who represents others in court. He defends them and restores their rights. Before practicing law, a person who wants to become a lawyer must study law at a university. The duration of the study is four years. In this period, he studies various laws. Such as commercial law, tax law, penal law, and intellectual property. After graduation, the lawyer begins training to obtain a license to practice law. During the training period, the lawyer gains experience, and learns about the types of cases. After obtaining the license, he officially becomes a lawyer. He begins to take on many roles. Such as documenting contracts between parties, helping individuals win cases, and providing legal advice. Because of the seriousness of the profession of advocacy, there are personal traits that the lawyer must develop in himself. Including self-confidence, patience, self-control, and courage. Moreover, the lawyer must be a sociable person who is good at dealing with different types of personalities. He must also be a brilliant speaker. The importance of a lawyer in our lives is represented in many things. He defends rights, resolves conflicts between individuals, and contributes to stability in society. In addition, the lawyer plays a role in putting an end to crimes that undermine the security of society.
I think the best feeling a lawyer can feel is to help people who have been wronged. Advocacy is a humanitarian profession. We would live in chaos without it. I will study hard to become a lawyer in the future, and I will always strive to help others and solve their problems.
