Stay Healthy


Following a healthy lifestyle is not something easy. Once you choose to be healthy, trust me, you have chosen the right path for your life. A healthy lifestyle involves exercising, eating good food, enough sleeping, avoiding stress, and many other elements. In today’s essay, Faten is going to describe her healthy lifestyle which is done and planned by her mother Lubna.


My mother created a strict plan for me and my brothers to make sure that we are as healthy as possible. I start my day eating an apple because I believe that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Then I eat an egg with cucumbers, and sometimes I drink a glass of orange juice. When I go to school, I don’t take with me a heavy meal, I normally take a small sandwich and a snack. Most of my friends bring with them fried food such as potatoes, chicken, or stuff like that. As for me, I try to eat fried or junk food once a week even though my parents do it once a month, but I can’t because I adore burgers and Shawerma. After getting back from school, especially on Tuesdays, I go with my mother to join a Zumba class, and I think it is the best, funny way for exercising. The purpose is to move your body regardless of the way. Lately, we started quitting sugar from most of the meals we eat. I was addicted to chocolate, but now I have more self-control.


Being healthy has nothing to do with your age. Even if you aren’t an adult, it is good to start implementing those habits into your life since they are not the easiest, but their results appear after a long time. Your skin will be brighter, you will feel like a butterfly, and you will work and achieve more.
