I Hate Pollution
Pollution is about making something impure and dirty. It can be seen as water pollution, air pollution, or even land pollution. It is harmful and dangerous because it causes a lot of serious diseases not only to humans, but also to animals and plants. In this essay, Rahma will discuss the bad effect of pollution from her point of view.
At my school, we have a free day called” Against Pollution”, and it is under this slogan” keep it clean, keep it fresh”. During this day, we start to collect the garbage from all of the classes, in the drawers, on the floor, from the baskets, we collect literally everything, and everywhere. Then, we start to wipe the walls, and all the surfaces till they shine. Sometimes and throughout the day, our school bring lecturers or specialized officials in things related to the environment. I really enjoy listening to these topics, I feel more aware and responsible. I really feel sad once I see a person throwing something out of his car, or a boy throwing peanut shells while playing football. I hate seeing car gases, and I hate smelling toxic smeels coming out from factories. I hate pollution. By the way, I got inspired by a young lady called “Greta Thunberg”. She is a Swedish environmental activist who is known for taking immediate actions towards climate changes and pollution issues. I watched most of her speeches, and I wished to be like her one day.
Pollution is a constant issue in our life which is created by us, and by our unhealthy activities. I think we should spread more awareness regarding those bad actions. There are many solutions that we discussed with our geography teacher like recycling, tree planting, relying more on renewable energy sources, etc. I hope our plant become healthier, brighter, and safer.
