Childhood Memories

They are called memories because they let you remember and recall things as if they are happening right now. They are important because they let us feel and live the moments again. Some moments are bad and some of them are good. It depends on the person. We cannot delete our memories, for they became not only part of our brain, but also part of our personalities.

My childhood was really funny. I have only one sister and she is the youngest. I used to take care of her, play with her, and even study with her. I spend all of my time with Salma. I am 12 and she is 10, so there is no real gap between us. We can connect perfectly. Let say that I don’t remember my first two years without Salma, but I can clearly remember how I was a very active baby. My parents told me that they struggled with me a lot, but they were sure that this was a good sign of smartness. Salma is a bit emotional maybe because I do everything instead of her, and I give her everything she wants. I love her and I feel I am responsible for her. Each Friday, we used to go to the park to run. She loves running. She asks me to run over her and to make it a competition. My parents spend a lot of time at work, so this was a chance for us to create wonderful moments together. If you are asking me about my childhood with my parents, I will say it was really good. My parents are so much caring and they raised me with love. They taught me to love myself first in order to love others.

I am so grateful for them, and I am thankful for having Salma. Our memories are endless, and we will have more.
