Animal Protection

Many living things live in nature. Including humans, animals, and plants. These living things depend on each other. As for animals, they live on Earth thousands of years before humans. Their existence has always been important to humans. Therefore, it is their duty to protect them. I attended a lecture on animal protection. It taught me new things about this topic, which I will talk about in this essay.

The term animal protection means the elimination of all forms of cruelty to animals. It also means acknowledging that animals have rights, as well as protecting those rights, and putting them into practice through laws and procedures. Animal protection takes the form of many practices. Such as: reducing illegal hunting, establishing reserves, sheltering stray animals, reducing logging, putting out food for animals in open spaces, taking sick animals to the vet, organizing awareness campaigns on animal protection, avoiding polluting the environment and water sources, cultivating plants and trees, and avoiding setting traps in the forests. Animal protection has many benefits. It shows the human side of people, and contributes to maintaining the ecological balance. Protecting animals saves them from extinction, and allows humans to benefit from them in many areas. Including food, medicine, science, transport, agriculture, and clothing. On the one hand, animal protection is a collective responsibility. This means that it requires the cooperation of all individuals in society. This is because it is inconceivable to have individuals protecting animals at the same time as other individuals harming and killing them.

Some people may underestimate the protection of animals because they may not understand that animals are living creatures like them. Such people should be educated and helped to understand that animals have feelings, and they can feel pain. They should also be invited to participate in campaigns aimed at animal protection, to try this experience up close.
