My Weight Loss Journey
Each of us has an achievement to be proud of. Especially when this achievement is difficult and requires a lot of effort. For me, my biggest achievement is losing weight. I was able to achieve it after a long struggle. In this essay, I will talk about my weight loss journey, and how it changed my life.
Several reasons led me to the decision to lose weight. Including that I had difficulty moving and doing the simplest things. I used to get short of breath when I exert myself. And it was hard to find clothes that fit me. These things were embarrassing and upsetting. When I reached my limits, I decided to start losing weight seriously. I sat with myself and decided that I will not give up halfway or allow anything to discourage me. The first thing I did on my weight loss journey was to see a nutritionist. She put me on a diet and told me to stick to it. This was after she measured my weight, body fat percentage, and other procedures. At first, the diet was difficult. But as time passed, it became part of my daily routine. I started exercising. I also stopped eating junk food and foods with a lot of sugar and fat. After a while, I started noticing I was losing weight. This encouraged me to continue my journey. And when I reached my ideal weight, I was the happiest person in the world. I felt reborn. Not because my appearance has changed. It's because I became stronger and more confident in myself. In addition to that, I was able to do all the things that I couldn't do before losing weight.
Before anyone starts losing weight, it is important to see a nutritionist. Because people have different bodies. The person should be self-confident, and not care about frustrating comments. And most importantly, he must not give up, no matter how long and tiring the weight loss journey is. And that's because the results are worth every drop of sweat.
