Our Neighborhood
Living in a calm, peaceful place is a bliss that shouldn’t be taken for granted. In this essay, I will describe my lovely neighborhood, and I will mention some of its areas.
Let’s describe my lovely neighborhood which is located in Al Karak, Jordan. I currently live in Al-Shaheed Street. Near my street, we can go to the supermarket, bakery, bookshops and also Chinese or Italian restaurants. Bus service is always on time. Policemen and firefighters are very available if something wrong happens in our neighborhood. Behind my neighborhood, we have a big lake and a recreation park where lots of people have fun in the summer. My neighbors are very kind, friendly, and proactive. One day my neighbors organized a party so I think we could call my neighborhood a community. I like my neighborhood because I feel safe and blessed while walking there. What I like best about my neighborhood is the bus line which passes opposite my home. It allows me to get to my school in a few minutes. My natural environment is healthy because there are green spaces and an adventure playground. My family has lived in the same neighborhood since 2003. Our flat has an amazing balcony, it’s very pleasant when springtime is coming. It’s a place to relax where you can meet friends, or play football. It’s a place where I belong: it’s my home. We like our neighbors; we can organize some meals together. I like to take a walk because it’s a peaceful and quiet place. There are always children in front of my house because of the little park. Sometimes it’s too noisy though. Our neighbors ask me sometimes to take care of their plants, animals, and children. I am still 13, but I am very responsible.
I don’t know if I am going to live in another city in the future, but I am super content with the people, and things around me.
