My Computer
Computers are the best example of technology. They started to be part of our lives, and they became a primary tool for us and for our children. The first thing you should get once you buy a new home is the computer because at some point, it will ease your life, and it relies on the internet. Computers have several advantages and disadvantages, so we are going to highlight most of them as a story below.
My father brought me a computer, and this happened after a year of nagging. All my friends have computers, and they spend most of their times using it either for playing or for studying. I used to go to Adam’s house every day after school to play video games. He downloaded amazing games online. Sometimes, I ask Adam to use hs computer to do the home work since our teacher Sanaa asks us to prepare regular presentations, and to send them as PDF files. I told my father that I need one to play video games, and to chat with my friends online. He told me “you are going to waste your time, and you won’t study then”. I told him that education nowadays is shifted towards the use of technology, and my school asked us to make sure to have one, for all of our upcoming exams and home works would be online. My father wasn’t convinced first, but I tried to show him the good side fo having a computer. Of course, it has a bad side, but you can as a user control and minimize the bad effects. For example, it is harmful for your eyes, and it can affect your back. Moreover, if you spend too much time in front of it, it can be a waste of time.
Finally, it is good to keep in touch with technology, and new updates, but the idea is to make sure it is suitable for your age.
