My Uncle

Uncles are like fathers. They are very protective, and they care about each and every member of the family. They hold different, unique emotions and feelings for the family grandkids. Uncles are responsible, once you are in trouble or you have any problem, you will find him by your side. They are your backbone. Today’s essay highlights the amazing value behind having such an affectionate uncle.

I am Suhaib, and I am 10 years old. I don’t have brothers or sisters. I spend most of my time with my uncle Omar. he is 20 years old, and he studies Mechanical Engineering at the university. He plays with me like a kid and he dedicates time for me during his day. Every Friday, he takes me by his motorbike to the garden to train me to ride bicycles. I started to love this hobby after I saw my uncle. I think I am now imitating most of his attitudes, words, and actions. Last Thursday, we went to the cinema to watch a horror movie. My parents prevented me from watching those movies because they think I see nightmares, hhhhh, but I am stronger than they imagine. My uncle Omar made me feel that I am a man, and I am now capable of doing things by myself, and this gave me an amazing feeling of confidence and power. Sometimes I ask him to teach me math because he is the smartest. If you ask me now who’s your role model, I will immediately say “My uncle Omar”. I think I will be like him in the future, but I will definitely study something.

I am writing this to express how grateful, and thankful I am to you Omar, as you always told me to call you by your name. I love you to the moon and never back again.
