Healthy food is what we must include in our diet. While we should avoid unhealthy food as much as we can. In this essay, I will talk about healthy food, its benefits, and the difference between it and unhealthy food.
Healthy food is the food that is good for a person's health. Healthy food does not have artificial food additives. It also does not have a lot of salt or sugar. Healthy food contains minerals, vitamins, water, protein, and other nutrients. Examples of healthy foods are: fish, nuts, legumes, whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. Examples of healthy whole grains include brown rice, popcorn, and barley. On the other hand, examples of healthy legumes are: kidney beans, peas, lentils, and chickpeas. There are many benefits for healthy food. For example: it makes the muscles and bones strong. It also helps us maintain a healthy weight. In addition, healthy food is good for the eyes, teeth, heart, kidneys, and other organs. Eating healthy food protects us from diseases, and keeps us active and focused. In contrast, unhealthy food is bad for a person's health. It has a lot of fats, salt, sugar and other harmful additives and chemicals. Examples of unhealthy foods include: fast food, sugary drinks, ghee, processed meat, sweets, and chips. Eating unhealthy food instead of healthy food has many harms, such as: obesity, mood swings, tooth decay, and other diseases.
Some people eat unhealthy food because it is cheaper and tastier than healthy food. Such people should know that this is wrong, and they should change their diet to be healthier. Because this directly affects the health of their bodies and minds.
