Our world is full of amazing places. These places are inhabited by different people, plants, and animals. Also, the climate varies from one place to another. Desert is one of these places. It has been known to humans for a long time. In this essay, I will talk about desert, and what makes it a wonderful place.
Desert is a large area of land. It is covered with sand and stones. Desert is almost an empty place. It has little water and rain. The climate of the desert is very hot during the day, and cold at night. However, it has many living creatures that survive in its harsh conditions. plant and animal life of the desert are unique. Some examples of desert plants and trees are: cactus, elephant tree, and palm tree. On the other hand, many animals live in the desert. Such as: camel, lizard, bat, wolf, hawk, owl, snake, and scorpion. People live in the desert too. There are two types of these people. The first type lives in the desert in houses. While the second type lives in tents, and they are called "nomads". The reason why nomads live in tents is because they move from one place to another. And they settle in places where they find water and other suitable living conditions. The largest hot desert in the world is the Sahara. It is located in North Africa.
Many people go to the desert to do some activities, such as camping, watching the sunrise and sunset, and watching the stars at night. The desert is a quiet place. It helps people to relax and think calmly, away from the annoying noise of cities.
