A Road Trip
Habitual life is boring, that’s why we need to break it every now and then. The best way is by changing your environment including people you know, places you are going to, and habits you do regularly. Travelling is your choice. Regardless of the place, you will find yourself in another mood.
The special thing about our experience with traveling this year is that we traveled by car. We went to Mecca. It took us almost 15 hours. It was my first time visiting Mecca. I went with my big sister and my parents to do Umrah. My parents go every year to Mecca to do Umrah. Our relatives live in Saudi Arabia. Some of them live in Jeddah and some in Riyadh. So, we saw them and gathered together. I haven’t seen them since 2018, so I decided to go to see them and do Umrah. To be honest, traveling by car is very exhausting and tiring. My father drove for around 15 hours. But, there are a lot of benefits to traveling by car. First of all, you can take the stuff you want because there is no baggage limit and you can stop as much as you can. Another great benefit is that you will save money in comparison to traveling by plane. The disadvantages of traveling by car also include that if the weather is bad, it will impact your trip. In addition to the costs of the food, drinks, and snacks during the trip. On our trip, a challenge that faced us was that my sister was pregnant, so we needed to stop regularly and that took more time.
Despite all the disadvantages of traveling by car, it’s very interesting. Make sure to take all the stuff you need, take all the safety precautions and you will have fun.
