I Love Writing
Your pen is your only tool to express yourself. With a white sheet and a pen, you can deliver many messages. Some topics cannot be expressed orally. You have to find another power which is your writings. In this essay, we will be focusing on Othman’s talent. He writes short stories, and he got an award last year.
I am Othman, and I write very imaginative short stories. I started practicing this skill when I was 8 and I am now 14. My Arabic teacher discovered how talented I am. Once upon a time, our teacher Ahmad asked us to write a story that is similar to Alaa Al Deen’s story but with adding a modern twist. I wrote an amazing, wonderful plot. I put myself inside the story, and I imagined myself one of the characters. I got the highest mark. The week after, my school conducted a competition under the title of “ Short Stories Writer” which states that you have to write a huge number of creative stories and with clear, vivid language. They gave us two weeks to do so, and they provided us with a couple of introductions or in literature they call them “expositions” in order to ease the process. I did pretty well, but I was competing with other students from other schools. After the results, the judge took me aside, and he told me “don’t stop and keep writing. Your fingers are like gold”. His words were heartwarming. Currently, I am working on making my writing free from any kinds of mistakes. I wish in the future to be a famous writer who writes not only to entertain and please people but also to share their concerns.
To sum up, I am very proud of myself, and I am thankful for my parents, and my teacher Ahmad who helped me to find my talent which is “WRITING”.
