My School

I remember the first day at school, grade 1, section A. it is like a dream, it happened so fast. I completed my elementary education at a school called…………….with my little brother Khaled, then we moved to another school. At that time, I was 15 years old. Grade 8 was a bit challenging because there were three materials related to science; biology, physics, and chemistry, and I wasn’t good at scientific subjects, but I tried my best since I had an amazing teacher called Lama. She did all the methods to explain the material to all students.

Our school was full of skilled teachers, they were super talented, and they treated us as their kids. I had seven classes per day with one break, and it was only 20 minutes. In addition, the school dedicated time for voluntary works, so we utilized this time to have fun as well. When it comes to voluntary works, I have participated in painting the school and fixing most of its old classes. Moreover, I was part of our school- radio team. We started together from scratch in order to build a small radio station. I love my school because I feel like it is my second home, and the word home represents the idea of being safe, surrounded, and loved. I always hear students around me making fun of their teachers and principles, but I think this is because they don’t put their school as a priority. Once you care about something, you are going to view it as a garden full of blossoms. It all starts from your mindset. When you think of the school as a place full of regulations and instructions, absolutely you will not have any kind of passion to go to it. I keep recommending my colleagues to look after their homework and to study will since your journey at your school is a sign for your future.
