I am interested in….

Here, we provide two templates for two different characters discussing their interests and the importance of finding things you are interested in.

Example One:

I started to feel that I am an adult once I started to have control over my choices. I started to know which things I love and which things I don’t. I started to dig deeper into my personality till I realized what are the things I am interested in. Finding interests in your life is like finding meaningful reasons for living. Interests are the things you love to do or practice either by yourself or with others. For me, I am interested in reading books, particularly novels. I like reading them because I start imagining all the characters in the story and I start creating a visual picture in my mind about the whole plot. I am interested also in learning languages. Learning languages enhances the function of your memory, and adds a very unique imprint on your personality. I learnt English 4 years ago, and I am now working on acquiring Turkish.

Example Two:

I have been playing football since I was 10. My father encouraged me to join a football team in 2017. I worked very hard on my skills till I became a professional that time I realized that I am not interested in sports except football. I tried to find other things like riding horses or basketball but at the end of the day, I return to play football at 8:00 p.m. with my friends. During the university phase, I was highly interested in joining voluntary works, and I was super active, I was interested in helping my colleagues and university students. I am still interested, but I don’t have enough time to do so. From my point of view, I believe that each person has interests, but not all of them are discovered. You need to search and search until you find your hidden talents and interests.
