Physical Fitness 


My favorite subject at school is physical education. I like it not only because it takes place outside the classroom and does not include homework. It is my favorite because it helps me keep physical fitness, which is one of my interests in life. In this essay, I will talk about this interest. The term physical fitness refers to that state in which an individual has strength and stamina, that allow him to perform various activities on a daily basis. This term also means that the individual and his daily activities are not affected by fatigue or any disease. There are many ways in which physical fitness can be improved. But first, you have to define your goal of acquiring it. Like living a healthy life, or losing weight. This will help you stay motivated and prevent you from giving up. Some ways to improve physical fitness include: getting regular exercise, getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods rich in vitamins, reducing sugar intake, and practicing meditation. Physical fitness is important for physical and mental health. For the body, it improves the functions of its organs. It also protects the body from many diseases, and maintains an ideal weight. On the other hand, the benefits of physical fitness for mental health include: raising self-confidence, increasing positive emotions, and teaching self-discipline and responsibility. As for society, physical fitness contributes to its prosperity and progress. It makes its individuals better people, who do their work and activities properly.


Because of the great importance of physical fitness, schools teach it to the students. Universities and companies also hold sports competitions between individuals to motivate them to maintain it. We all have to maintain physical fitness. Because it protects us from diseases, and makes us active members of society.
