The Orphan

Parents are important in the life of any child. They are the source of care and love for their children. When a child loses one or both of his parents, he becomes an orphan, and go through difficulties in his life. This leaves a gap in the child life while he still needs them. In this essay, I will talk about the orphan, and why it is important to take care of him and help him in his life.

The word orphan refers to a child whose parents have died when he is under the age of 18. Orphans are one of the vulnerable groups in society because their needs are affected by the loss of their parents. The orphan who lost his father may lose his breadwinner, who earns money to support him. He may miss the feeling of security and protection too. On the other hand, the orphan who lost his mother may miss the source of care and love in his life. He may also lose the person who takes care of his needs at home. If we meet an orphan, we should treat him with kindness. We should never harm orphans, or refuse their request for help. The orphan's family must help him overcome his problems. They must take care of his needs, such as food, health care, and education. They should do their best to make him happy, and to make him feel safe.

All over the world, there are institutions that take care of orphans. They support them financially, emotionally and socially. Such institutions try to help orphans to live a happy life. Everyone in the community should take care of the orphans, because they are part of our communities, and we should never abandon them.
