A Family Celebration: My Cousin's Wedding

The last family celebration I attended was my cousin's wedding. It was a special occasion, and I had a great time. In this essay, I will talk about this celebration, and how it was. In addition to the things that I did.

My family started preparing for my cousin's wedding a while before it. And my parents offered to help the groom's family with anything. On the wedding day, we went to the groom's house early to help them prepare the house to welcome the guests. Our relatives who live far away were expected to attend. For that, the groom's family prepared lunch for them. We decorated the house inside and out, and put out chairs for guests in the yard. After noon, the guests started arriving. I was happy to see my relatives whom I hadn't seen for a while. Everyone danced and sang together. During that, the groom's mother scattered sweets to everyone. Then, we got into the cars and drove to the bride's house. The bride's family welcomed my family and offered us coffee, soft drinks, and sweets. On our way back, all the cars honked their horns to express joy. When we arrived, the celebration began. In a large tent in front of the house, the men celebrated the groom. While the women celebrated the bride inside the house. Everyone danced, sang, and partied until late at night. The next day, the groom's family hosted a lunch for all the guests. We had mansaf and kunafa. Everyone wished the newlyweds a happy life. They also wished to meet again in another family celebration.

I love family celebrations because they bring us together with people we don't see often. I also love them because everyone feels happy and have a great time. I hope to attend more of these celebrations. I also hope that one day my family will have a big celebration at our house, and everyone will attend.
