World Teachers' Day
World celebrates Teacher's Day on the 5th of October every year. Our school celebrated this occasion. Gifts and certificates of appreciation were awarded to all teachers as a form of encouragement. In this essay, I want to give a word of thanks to my teachers. I will also talk about what makes them deserve all this appreciation on this occasion.
I still remember my first day at school. I was crying and scared. But one of the teachers approached me and told me that I would love school, and I would enjoy my time there. From that day on, I determined to study hard and respect my teachers. School is my second home, and the teachers are like my parents. Every morning, the teacher gets up early. Before going to school, he makes sure to fulfill his duties at home towards his family. The teacher spends his day teaching and taking care of the students, even at break time. In the classroom, the teacher makes every effort to make his students understand the lessons. The teacher understands that his students differ in their levels of understanding. Therefore, he does not mind repeating the explanation more than once. When students encounter problems at school, the teacher helps them solve them. Also, they can turn to the teacher to seek advice when they face family problems that affect their studies. When the teacher comes home, he prepares the lessons for the next day. He thinks of his students' interest all the time. For this reason, all words of thanks and appreciation are never enough for him.
Teacher's Day is a simple opportunity to say "thank you" to the teachers. For this reason, I want to say to all of my teachers, thank you for everything. Without you, our life would be difficult and dark. I promise I will make you proud of me one day. I will remember you forever. Thank you today and every day.
